The Oak Room Bar / Restaurant

Stephen Matthews Architects designed the managed construction for the fit-out of this bar/restaurant in the historic Victoria Park Market complex. Historically, the building provided stables for work horses and the high ceilings, trusses and brick construction give the space character. Conceptualised as a ‘barrel store’, the space retains heritage character features while providing unique, practical spaces for the hospitality operator.
